The book

The Unbecoming

A five-part, self-paced process for women who can feel the distance between how they appear and how they are.

What it is

It works through the adaptations you built to get here: composure, anticipation, usefulness. Each part looks at what trained that adaptation into you, what it protected, and what it costs to keep running it.

It begins with twenty questions. They show which adaptation you rely on most, and which part of the book to read first.

How it works

Twenty questions, answered in a few minutes.

Your result names the adaptation you run most often.

It sends you to the part of the book written for it, rather than starting you at page one.

New writing by email.

I do not publish often. When I do, it goes out here first.
